Study with us

As chiropractors, we sometimes say that we did not choose chiropractic; it chose us by showing up in our lives.

In the same way, you are considering joining us to be part of our vision of making it possible for anyone with a passion for health to become a well-rounded Chiropractor, one adjustment at a time.

The Master of Chiropractic programme has been designed to focus on the specificity of the adjustment, principles of health and wellbeing, and the contemporary science of chiropractic. The student experience is at the heart of our work at SCC and, as well as maintaining strong links with the profession, we are developing relationships with other universities. These inter-professional connections between the College and the profession will ensure that our students are able to experience chiropractic in a wide variety of practices.

Why SCC

The Scotland College of Chiropractic has come about through the vision of a Board of Trustees who have a passion to grow and develop the profession through excellence in education, understanding that chiropractic can thrive through growing inspired and purposeful leaders who recognise the vital role of the nervous system in the restoration, preservation, and enhancement of human health, performance, and potential.

Our MChiro programme will ensure the progressive development of skills and knowledge within a contemporary, evidence-informed chiropractic curriculum and, on successful completion of the MChiro, you will be eligible to register* with our regulatory body, the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).

Above all, we offer an inclusive environment for tomorrow’s practitioners to learn and share the future of progressive, modern Chiropractic and create a flourishing profession.

*As the programme has not yet received approval from the GCC, students enrolling on the programme prior to approval being granted by the GCC, under the terms of the Chiropractors Act 1994, risk not being entitled to register as a chiropractor in the UK.  The College is working to obtain programme approval by the GCC, with consideration by the General Council being dependent on the progress of the application by the College. This is unlikely to be before 2025.
