Application Stage 1: Application

What you need to do:

  • Complete the SCC application form.

  • Ensure you have completed all sections (there are 15).

  • Upload your personal statement, qualifications, academic or employer reference, and letter of recommendation* from a Chiropractor (*please contact the College if you require advice on how to meet this requirement).

  • Sign the declaration in section 15 and submit your application form.

Once your application is submitted you will receive an immediate acknowledgment and a subsequent update within three working weeks to let you know if you have progressed to Stage 2 of the process.

Application Stage 2: Interview

We will review your completed application and invite those applicants meeting our entry criteria (or with the potential to meet our entry requirements) to interview. Details of the date and time will be provided. Please note that progressing to an interview does not guarantee you a place on the programme.

You will receive a final decision from the Admissions Panel within two weeks of your interview.

As the programme has not yet received approval from the GCC, students enrolling on the programme prior to approval being granted by the GCC, under the terms of the Chiropractors Act 1994, risk not being entitled to register as a chiropractor in the UK.

The College is working to obtain programme approval by the GCC, with consideration by the General Council being dependent on the progress of the application by the College. This is unlikely to be before 2025.
