Lis Cook
Director of Quality Assurance
Lis comes to the College with a background in higher education management and quality assurance. She is responsible for ensuring the quality of the MChiro programme and your learning experience on this. Key aspects of her quality assurance work that relate directly to students include: managing assessment processes, co-ordinating student feedback on the modules studied and overseeing the annual monitoring of the MChiro programme to both our university partner, Buckinghamshire New University, and our accrediting body, the General Chiropractic Council.
Lis is responsible for training and liaising with any student wishing to become a student representative. Involving students in College committees and decision-making processes is an important part of how our community works and we want to encourage a really active student voice within this. She is also the first point of contact for any student seeking support for a disability, learning difficulty or health condition: our process for helping any such student is through building a Learning Support Plan with them. She also works closely with personal tutors who, initially, will be practising chiropractors, providing their induction to the College and helping to develop this important role.
